Silicone should not be applied to the wrapping surface before installation.
The film will not bond to silicone.

The specification should confirm who is responsible for removing existing silicone and applying the replacement sealant.
Occupied Buildings and Phasing
Architectural film is well suited to live and occupied environments because work can often be completed in sections.
Installation can be programmed:
