B&B Hotels

The Brief
The Solution
We proposed a two-team strategy to meet the client’s goals:
• A joinery team to remove, prepare, and rehang the doors – resolving hinge issues and ensuring correct fit
• A vinyl wrapping team to deliver a clean, high-end finish using architectural film in an oak woodgrain chosen to match the hotel’s brand and new interior decor
This approach allowed for efficient sequencing, reduced on-site disruption, and guaranteed a complete, finished result – both visually and practically.
The Process
The project was delivered in five phases, aligning with the hotel’s live refurbishment programme and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Each door was:
• Carefully removed by joiners
• Prepped and repaired where needed
• Wrapped by our installation team using durable, wipe-clean film
• Rehung, checked and adjusted to resolve long-standing fit issues
The use of two dedicated teams ensured both speed and quality across all stages.
The Transformation
The doors were transformed from dark, dingy black paint to a bright, oak-effect woodgrain, which lifted the feel of the entire corridor and aligned perfectly with the updated interior scheme.
The difference wasn’t just cosmetic: all doors were realigned and refitted correctly, resolving issues that had built up over time and improving the overall guest experience.
