Interior design studio Layrd Design approached Fusion Surfaces to assist with a football dressing room refurbishment at Ipswich Football Club. Following the club’s promotion to the Premier League, the dressing room required a fast upgrade to align with wider refurbishment works across the stadium. The schedule was tight. The club needed a solution that would refresh the space quickly while still delivering a professional finish suitable for a top-flight football environment. Alongside the main dressing room works, additional privacy measures were required within the Players’ Lounge and the hospitality boxes overlooking the pitch.
The Solution
The Process
Architectural vinyl wrapping provided the speed and flexibility needed for the project.
Working closely with Layrd Design, we selected finishes from the LX Hausys Benif range to match the club’s branding and updated interior scheme. The material allowed existing surfaces to be refreshed quickly without the need for lengthy construction work.
Our installers applied the selected finish across multiple elements within the dressing room, including walls, doors, frames and the main changing room unit.
In addition, privacy film was installed within the Players’ Lounge, and existing window frosting in the pitch-side boxes was removed and reinstalled to maintain privacy for players, staff and guests.
