Latest In Office Refurb Services

It’s safe to say that many of us are now heading back to the office after the past two years of zoom meetings in our PJs.  It can seem a little daunting, having to concentrate in a bustling office, having to look tidy, and the messy business of dealing with other human beings.  But getting up, going to work in a different setting, and coming home really should be more conducive to a more creative and active work-life balance.  But what of our actual office environment? And is it really a place we are looking forward to spending the next thirty years in?

The interest in Office Refurbishment has grown significantly in the last couple of years.  The office has evolved to a point where it is now viewed as an asset to attract and retain the very best talent and as a result, more companies are investing in creating workplaces that their staff feel valued and happy to work in.

At Fusion, we have vast experience in the business of office refurbishment. Using vinyl wrapping for offices, we create a professional yet friendly environment, which can lead to increased productivity, less stress and a reduced amount of time off work.

Vinyl wrapping also benefits clients, if your office welcomes visitors then your workplace should be representative of your working standards. When completing commercial projects, Fusion Surfaces can wrap nationwide. We have completed vinyl wrapping projects in Manchester, Stockport, Tamworth, Aberdeen, London and more. No project is too small or too large.

It is also important for an office revamp to be more sustainable so choosing to vinyl wrap existing doors, reception desks, lockers and toilet areas etc is a more eco-friendly option over replacing them.

When you are tasked with an office refurbishment it can be daunting and difficult to know where to start.  It can be useful to make a checklist so that you have a starting place of where you are going and how to get there.

1. Why Refurb?

With employees moving back to the office working from home working, there can be higher standards and expectations to make your office visually appealing. Uninspiring and drab office furniture just won’t cut it anymore.

What is wrong with your current space and what would an office Refurbishment do for your workspace? It may be that the place is looking tired and dated, a look that isn’t serving your brand or identity.

Providing existing and potential staff with a workplace where they feel proud and happy to work in is vital.  High productivity, staff well-being and good mental health all go hand in hand.

2. Chat with your team

Ask their opinions and get them involved.  Speak to everyone from IT to HR, Facilities to PAs.  Make a wish list for your office refurb.  This will develop into your brief so make sure any issues that have cropped up don’t reappear in your new office revamp.

3. Work closely with your Office Refurbishment Company

At Fusion, we deliver clear, consistent and honest communication between ourselves and our clients. From Instagram photographs or in-house design ideas, we can match the colours and designs that you want from marble, concrete, wood, metallic designs and more. Make your office stand out against the rest and keep your budget happy in the process.

4. Managing the office refurbishment on site

If you were to rip out and replace old office furniture, kitchens, toilets etc just imagine the amount of disruption to the working day – and for how long this disruption would go on for.

The Fusion team of highly trained installers complete all work to the highest standard and are specifically trained in interior architectural film. They can be flexible to work at times that are best suited to office activities, to ensure daily work can continue as smoothly as possible. No mess, no smell, and very little disruption.

5 Agree on a budget

And work closely with your Refurb Company to stick to it. We understand that any office refurbishment costs money. However, some cost more than others, and your budget may thank you for choosing vinyl wrapping for office design instead of replacements.

Vinyl wrapping for corporate office refurbishment is ideal for keeping costs low, avoiding disruption to the workplace and making your work environment inviting and modern.

Our vinyl wrapping can last between 7-10 years and is scratch-resistant to ensure it always looks as good as the day it was installed, perfect for areas such as desks and meeting tables.

DON’T SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS THAN THE BEST WHEN IT COMES TO OFFICE REFURBISHMENT

Does it look good? Is it durable? At Fusion, we use architectural film, which is more durable and of higher quality than other vinyl wraps.

Vinyl wrapping is a great solution for corporate offices because we can give the feel of a brand-new workspace without the huge price tag.

We can match most colour schemes so if the office space is having a rebrand, we can vinyl wrap areas to compliment the new look. We can wrap all office areas such as office cubicles, meeting roomsreception areas, kitchens, bathrooms and lifts

The end result of a Fusion Surfaces vinyl wrapping project will be a new finish on the existing surface. Before the wrapping process begins, you can expect to see small repairs that involve filling and sanding to prepare the surface for the vinyl wrap. However, if we believe that your best option is to replace your furniture, we will tell you after a site survey.

Rosie Christie

Co-Founder

Older than the rest of the team, but not necessarily wiser as she’d like to think. There’s not an activity under the sun that she’s not been willing to have a go at, resulting in a mediocre ukulele player, part-time blogger, one-time skydiver and an unfinished sitcom script. There’s no room for shades of grey in this half of the partnership; everything comes down to looking after people who are important.

Organising tradesmen is not a task for the fainthearted. But recruiting the right tradesmen, ones who align with our values and are highly skilled at what they do makes for a much more harmonious project management process. Rosie’s role begins with a meeting to discuss your requirements, providing you with a quotation and carries through to the on-site management of your project.

Jade Mitchell

Co-Founder

She’s the only Southerner on the team, but we try not to hold it against her too much. If anything, we’ve enjoyed introducing Jade to a vast number of pie shops now she’s a Northern resident. Standing at a phenomenal 5’2”, she is living proof that big things come in small packages; a mix of infectious enthusiasm, laughter, loyalty, authority and uncanny Theresa May impressions.

Communicating with our clients is Jade’s forte. Being highly organised and placing customer satisfaction at the forefront of everything she does means that from enquiry to completion, your queries will be dealt with efficiently. For an in depth knowledge of the material specification of our interior film, Jade is your woman. She will put your mind at rest that not only do we install this product, but we make sure that is the most suitable for your needs.
