The spa area at the fabulous Lowry Hotel was in need of a spruce up, and the lockers in particular were looking a bit tired and dated. The hotel had been quoted over £30, 000.00 to rip out and replace them, which was a huge amount of money and not a very sustainable way of working.
Matt, the Facilities Manager got in touch with us and we came up with a plan to wrap the lockers, vanity unit frames, bathroom doors, existing mirrors and a bespoke towel rack.
INSTALLATION
After a thorough clean down, the lockers took three days to complete and they all had brand new locks to match. The towel rail was wrapped in a rose gold vinyl – we had to cut 100 different pieces to wrap its intricate design. It looked incredible and very unique. We worked around the opening of the spa so that customers were still able to access their treatments without disruption.
We provided a cost effective solution to modernise the existing lockers and changing room areas to fit in with the luxury feel of this spa. We were able to provide a no-mess and noise free environment which was essential so that the spa could continue treatments whilst we were on site.
Older than the rest of the team, but not necessarily wiser as she’d like to think. There’s not an activity under the sun that she’s not been willing to have a go at, resulting in a mediocre ukulele player, part-time blogger, one-time skydiver and an unfinished sitcom script. There’s no room for shades of grey in this half of the partnership; everything comes down to looking after people who are important.
Organising tradesmen is not a task for the fainthearted. Rosie’s role begins with a meeting to discuss your requirements, providing you with a quotation and carries through to the on-site management of your project.
She’s the only Southerner on the team, but we try not to hold it against her too much. If anything, we’ve enjoyed introducing Jade to a vast number of pie shops now she’s a Northern resident. Standing at a phenomenal 5’2”, she is living proof that big things come in small packages; a mix of infectious enthusiasm, laughter, loyalty, authority and uncanny Theresa May impressions.
