Elm House

The Brief

Our client required over 70 metres of frosted banding across two floors of Elm House – a 7,900 sq ft office space undergoing refurbishment. The objective was to increase privacy and meet safety compliance across a range of meeting rooms and glazed partitions. Existing frosting needed to be removed and replaced as part of the scope.

Surrey

2 Days

Offices

The Consultation

We carried out a full site survey to assess the space, accurately measure the glazing, and identify installation challenges. Based on the client’s priorities – privacy, light transmission, and professional appearance – we recommended Metamark Silver Etch, a film known for its higher opacity and clean finish.

The Process

Following the survey, all film was pre-cut to size to minimise disruption and maximise efficiency. The install was completed using a wet-application method for a flawless, bubble-free finish. Partway through the project, an additional 40 metres of frosting was requested. We returned within 48 hours to complete the extra scope without delaying the wider refurbishment timeline.

The Transformation

Glazed areas across two floors were fitted with crisp, uniform frosting – improving privacy while allowing natural light to flow throughout the space. The upgraded banding also brought the glazing in line with health and safety regulations for visibility.

The Outcome

The client praised the professionalism of our initial site survey, the reliability of our team on-site, and the quality of the final result. They were particularly impressed with our ability to respond quickly to the last-minute increase in scope and still meet their handover deadline.

Rosie Christie

Co-Founder

Older than the rest of the team, but not necessarily wiser as she’d like to think. There’s not an activity under the sun that she’s not been willing to have a go at, resulting in a mediocre ukulele player, part-time blogger, one-time skydiver and an unfinished sitcom script. There’s no room for shades of grey in this half of the partnership; everything comes down to looking after people who are important.

Organising tradesmen is not a task for the fainthearted. But recruiting the right tradesmen, ones who align with our values and are highly skilled at what they do makes for a much more harmonious project management process. Rosie’s role begins with a meeting to discuss your requirements, providing you with a quotation and carries through to the on-site management of your project.

Jade Mitchell

Co-Founder

She’s the only Southerner on the team, but we try not to hold it against her too much. If anything, we’ve enjoyed introducing Jade to a vast number of pie shops now she’s a Northern resident. Standing at a phenomenal 5’2”, she is living proof that big things come in small packages; a mix of infectious enthusiasm, laughter, loyalty, authority and uncanny Theresa May impressions.

Communicating with our clients is Jade’s forte. Being highly organised and placing customer satisfaction at the forefront of everything she does means that from enquiry to completion, your queries will be dealt with efficiently. For an in depth knowledge of the material specification of our interior film, Jade is your woman. She will put your mind at rest that not only do we install this product, but we make sure that is the most suitable for your needs.
