Consensus Workspace

The Brief

Consensus Workspace, a highly experienced family-run interior fit-out company and our long standing client, approached us with a vision for their client’s newly refurbished offices in Stockton-on-Tees.

Consensus Workspace sought a cohesive aesthetic throughout their refurbished office space. While nearing completion, the project lacked a unifying visual identity for the entrance doors, toilet cubicle doors, and IPS panels. Traditional refurbishment methods, like replacing these elements entirely, presented logistical hurdles and potentially extended timelines.

Commercial Offices

The Consultation

Understanding Consensus Workspace’s commitment to efficiency and the project’s timeline, we proposed vinyl wrapping as the ideal solution. This technique offered several advantages:

Rapid Transformation: Vinyl application delivers a swift upgrade, minimising disruption to ongoing projects.

Cost-Effectiveness: Compared to door and panel replacement, vinyl wrapping presents a more budget-friendly option.

Cohesive Design: The application of high-quality vinyl allows for a consistent visual style across various surfaces.

The Process

Working on the project in stages that suited the needs of the workplace, the transformation began with the office, toilet and store room entrance doors before we moved on to the toilet cubicle doors and IPS. Once a jumble of mismatched elements – they were now brought together in a unified look thanks to the application of LX Hausys Benif interior film. This didn’t just create a visually harmonious environment, it also gave extended life to the individual elements. The vinyl wrapping process was completed quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to Consensus Workspace’s overall project schedule.

The Transformation

In just a few hours, the beech effect doors and IPS panels were looking more modern and matching with the rest of the building. The doors also matched the dark wood theme that was presented to us as the interior design choice.

The Outcome

Consensus Workspace’s client was thrilled with the results and they were excited to see what we were coming to wrap on our next visit. Vinyl wrapping delivered the desired visual cohesion, stuck within budgetary constraints, and ensured the project’s timely completion. This office in Stockton-on-Tees now boasts a unified and stylish atmosphere, reflecting Consensus Workspace’s dedication to creating exceptional work environments.

Rosie Christie

Co-Founder

Older than the rest of the team, but not necessarily wiser as she’d like to think. There’s not an activity under the sun that she’s not been willing to have a go at, resulting in a mediocre ukulele player, part-time blogger, one-time skydiver and an unfinished sitcom script. There’s no room for shades of grey in this half of the partnership; everything comes down to looking after people who are important.

Organising tradesmen is not a task for the fainthearted. But recruiting the right tradesmen, ones who align with our values and are highly skilled at what they do makes for a much more harmonious project management process. Rosie’s role begins with a meeting to discuss your requirements, providing you with a quotation and carries through to the on-site management of your project.

Jade Mitchell

Co-Founder

She’s the only Southerner on the team, but we try not to hold it against her too much. If anything, we’ve enjoyed introducing Jade to a vast number of pie shops now she’s a Northern resident. Standing at a phenomenal 5’2”, she is living proof that big things come in small packages; a mix of infectious enthusiasm, laughter, loyalty, authority and uncanny Theresa May impressions.

Communicating with our clients is Jade’s forte. Being highly organised and placing customer satisfaction at the forefront of everything she does means that from enquiry to completion, your queries will be dealt with efficiently. For an in depth knowledge of the material specification of our interior film, Jade is your woman. She will put your mind at rest that not only do we install this product, but we make sure that is the most suitable for your needs.
